Biography

Initial life

Nicki is the daughter of Roman Grant, the patriarch of the fundamentalist Mormon polygamy compound in which Bill Henrickson also grew up, and Adaleen (nÃÆ' Â © e Hallstrom), the sixth of fourteen Roman wives, with whom he had a strained relationship, and who both loved and hates Nicki. Nicki's father, Roman, was respected as the "Prophet" in the compound.

Characterization

Nicki tends to be jealous, selfish, hypocritical, manipulative, sociopathic, dishonest, and cold. He often apologized by saying, "Well, that's it." Like her mother, she has a very indifferent attitude towards things like firearms and deception (ie a fake birth certificate). When Margene asked her to ask if her mother could make it a fake driver's license, Nicki said, "It's not that easy - do you think he just brought the equipment with him all the time?"

Nicki maintains strong belief in polygamy "principles", as well as courtesy in dressing and deep suspicion of the world in general, beyond the complex.

The program often focuses on the internal conflicts of Nicki's sexuality, mainly because he considers the mixed loyalty between his father and her husband, who they themselves often experience in conflict. Nicki is often hypocritical, can be blamed while unable to take responsibility. After collecting $ 60,000 in credit card debt, he passes the money by focusing on Bill and Barb's mistakes.

Season One

The one season line line line, replicated at the end of the second season, shows Nicki as a compulsive shopper who spent almost $ 60,000 in credit card debt, unbeknownst to his husband or wife.

It was revealed that Nicki was married to an older man named J.J. Walker (Wanda's brother) when he was fifteen and still lives in Juniper Creek. Wanda reminds Nicki about this and how when they are Nicki women, will tell Wanda how she "hates" J.J. and that his mind "made his skin crawl."
