Prior to establishing Bills.com and Freedom Financial Network, Stroh was an investor in financial services and developing companies in TA Associates, private equity funds, CIVC Partners, investment funds, and Doll's Capital Management, a venture capital firm. Stroh also works with two start-ups: Trigo Technologies (sold to IBM) and Luminous Networks, a Gigabit Ethernet startup. He is an investor, board advisor and Board Member for several entrepreneurial companies, including Ujogo, BioIQ, Goldline International, Positions2, SahamPost, Streaming Dynamics, Country Realty, Vertical Brands, Group Cards, Home Accounts, and Vitality Health (sold to CarePayments Technology, ).
In 2002, Stroh and his business partner Andrew Housser established the Freedom Financial Network (FFN), to provide a range of specialized financial services to US consumers. Companies in the Freedom Network are Debt Freedom Relief, offering debt relief assistance; Freedom Tax Relief to manage IRS tax debt; Golden Road Financial focuses on mortgage lending; and the latest acquisition in early 2010, Home Account. Stroh is currently Founder and CEO of Bills.com providing tools and information to help consumers make better personal finance decisions. Entrepreneurial magazine named Bills.com # 3 in Hot 100, the fastest growing company in America. Bills.com has been set up for the 500/5000 Inc. in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The company employs around 600 people, and has annual revenues of $ 106 million.
Stroh also wrote the fictitious novel King of Dharma about Tibetan Buddhism and the search of the Panchen Lama.
